The ROC has a hotline telephone number, 0161 495 7014 which, gives patients direct access to the centre. This on call service enables you to speak to a senior chemotherapy nurse at any time of the day or night.
Patients who are experiencing problems following their chemotherapy cycle are able to ‘drop in’ to the centre at any time of the day or night, in order to be cared for by our clinical team.
A chemotherapy nurse will review your symptoms and undertake any appropriate tests and the centre’s Resident Medical Officer (RMO) will also be available to see you if necessary. Your consultant oncologist will be contacted in order to establish whether any further treatment is required.
